Guest Information

Proper attire and footwear are required on the golf course at all times. Proper attire includes slacks, golfing shorts, which are no shorter than 17½” in length, golf shirts with collars, sweaters or jackets, and suitable golf footwear.

The following is not permitted on the golf course: backwards hats, cargo shorts/pants, cutoffs, jeans of any kind, running shorts, short shorts, tee shirts, undershirts, sweatsuits, jogging suits, sweatshirts of any kind, tennis attire, flip flops, golf sandals, or jogging shoes.

Shirts are to be tucked in at all times. Gentlemen are requested to remove their hats in the clubhouse. The dress code will be enforced at all times and is applicable to all golfers whether they are a Member or Guest. 

In many areas of the clubhouse casual golfing attire is acceptable. Dress denim pants are permissible in the clubhouse but not on the course. Consult your host as to proper attire.
You may get to Ivanhoe Club from entrances on Rt. 176 and Rt. 60. Please inform the guard at the gate that you are coming to the Club, and whom you are a guest of. You will then be permitted to enter the grounds.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, guests may drop their bags at the bag drop stand in front of the flagpole. There is no valet service on these days, so members and guests may park in any parking sport. 

You are encouraged to use the complimentary parking valets on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, who are there to assist you. Please follow the Valet Parking signs. Your bag will be taken from your car, guest tagged, and delivered to our Caddiemaster. 

The locker rooms are located on the lower level. An elevator is located in the center of the lobby as you enter the clubhouse. Our Locker Room Manager will assign you a locker in proximity to that of your host, and is happy to assist you in any way possible.

Guests are encouraged to use the practice facilities prior to play.

As a courtesy to your fellow golfers, please place your cell phone on “silent” or “vibrate” mode while on the golf course and in clubhouse areas. Please limit cell phone use on the course for emergencies only.
